Experience Joy
Antique Toy and Firehouse Museum
3456 Patterson Road, Bay City
Michigan
Our founder, Jimmie Dobson, opened the toy and fire truck museum as a way to share his joy of collecting trucks with our Bay City Community. Our Mission is to continue to help others experience joy and put a smile on everyone's face who comes to visit us!
Located in Bay City, Michigan, the toy and fire truck museum is home to over 60 motorized fire trucks – the largest collection of fire trucks in the world, including the "T-Rex" of Fire Engines, the FDNY Super Pumper. The museum also contains more than 12,000 antique and collectible toys, many of them fire, police and rescue vehicles.
The Dobson Family are longtime residents of the Mid-Michigan area and have generously invested in the region's history by sharing this collection. We have partnerships with several historical societies and museums who share our desire to share and preserve Michigan and Emergency Responder history. Contact us if you want to partner with our mission.
We open May 6 and close October 30.
