Join us in upgrading this historic fire station to meet modern safety and accessibility standards.
Phase 1 Construction is complete, and more work is needed to make this space a downtown Bay City attraction. Our goal is to make this an accessible satellite location, in addition to our larger space on Patterson Road. This space will help draw people who are visiting other attractions downtown, help us engage in year-round STEM education activities, and share joy with those who work, study and enjoy all that downtown Bay City has to offer!
An upgraded facility will allow community members to teach and demonstrate mechanical, electrical, and fire safety principles.
Facilities located in a historic fire station will provide an inviting space to honor and remember members of the Mid-Michigan fire service and provide a downtown Bay City museum for visitors to enjoy!
Relocating to an accessible, downtown facilities will attract tourism and invite the community to connect with first responder history.
